Driver details

You can make the following changes here:

  • Change driver details. You can change the expiry dates of driving licences, designations, telephone numbers and languages.
  • Hide driver. You move the driver to the list of drivers who are hidden. Drivers who are hidden are no longer displayed in lists on the Scania Tachograph Portal or e-mail messages from Scania Tachograph Services. Reminders will also not be sent to drivers who are hidden. Files for hidden drivers are, however, still left in the file store since you are responsible for storing files for at least one year. If you want to display a driver again, do this on the Settings > Drivers > Hidden drivers page.

Select group

You can select the group to display information for. Click to make group settings.

  1. Select in the Group list the group you wish to display drivers for.
  • Select the All option to display all drivers. You will then also see drivers which are not part of any group.

Details in the table

  • Name: The full name of the driver as given on the driver card. This information is automatically loaded from the driver card
  • Driver card: The number of the driver’s driver card. This information is automatically loaded from the driver card
  • Valid until: The date the driver card is valid until. This information is automatically loaded from the driver card
  • Driving licence: The date the driver’s driving licence is valid until. This is not loaded automatically, so you have to enter the date manually.
  • Group membership: The groups the driver is a member of. You can put the driver in groups on the Settings > Groups page.
  • Designation: The driver’s designation (free text). For example, you can use this field to enter an employee number or user name.
  • Telephone: The driver’s telephone number. Driver card data upload reminders will be sent as a text message to the telephone number specified.
  • Language: The language the driver speaks and should receive information in. The driver’s infringement reports will be created in this language. The language is automatically set to the customer language, but it is possible to change this. The report will then be created in both the driver’s and the customer’s language.

Change driver details

  1. Select the driver or drivers whose details you want to change.
  • Select several by holding down Ctrl and clicking the drivers concerned.
  • Select a group of drivers by holding down Shift and clicking the first and last driver in the group respectively.
  • Click a letter in the row at the bottom of the window to display all drivers whose surname starts with that letter.
  1. Click Change selected The following occurs:
  • All the selected drivers are moved to the top of the list.
  • The fields for driving licence expiry date, designation, telephone number and language for the selected drivers open so that you can change them.
  1. Enter details of the driver or drivers you have selected.
  2. Save the details by clicking .
  • Cancel by clicking . The previous details are reset.

Hide driver

If you no longer want to work actively with a driver on the portal, you can hide the driver. Drivers who are hidden are no longer displayed in any lists on Scania Tachograph Portal. Files for hidden drivers are, however, still left in the file store since you are responsible for storing files for at least one year.

  1. Select the driver or drivers you want to hide. The selected drivers will be moved to the list of hidden drivers.
  • Select several by holding down Ctrl and clicking the drivers concerned.
  • Select a consecutive group of drivers by holding down Shift and clicking the first and last driver in the group respectively.
  1. Click Hide selected. The driver is moved to the Hidden drivers page. All information about the driver is hidden on the portal. If you choose to display the driver again, all the information will be displayed again.

Sorting information

Click the column heading for the column which the information should be sorted by. Information is initially sorted in ascending order. Then, whenever you click the heading, sorting switches between ascending and descending order.
